# Domain Hosting

hosting.de proxying the domain for us at denic, to them we pay yearly ~4€ (1.8. every year is due date). The account is topped up with 39,10€ (checked January 2024) which means we should be good to go for around 8 years (with inflation). Top-Up can be done via paypal.

The only purpose hosting.de has is to set up dns Zone Requests to be sent to `ponte.r`
User and password is stored in brain

# DNS Resolver at ponte.r
ponte is managing a knot dns and uses the zonefile from kartei to send resolver data.

## updating the zone

1. update stockholm/kartei
2. deploy ponte with krops
