# Mr. W from Thailand

Looks for a dedicated Junior Developer with experience in Nix-based tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to manage, maintain, and optimize our collection of 40 devices, consisting mostly of desktop computers, but also includes various servers and additional tech equipment.

> Do you at Numtide have any "junior" developers or connections to such people that I could hire to take care of some more mundane, mostly Nix-based tasks for me, like setting up servers in a reasonably sane way, writing small utilities to make my life easier pre- this thing we want to build actually existing? I need to maintain about 40 machines, mostly desktop computers for people working for me, but some servers and other various things. Working with such a person (maybe even pair programming?) would be very helpful.

> Actually a part of this job is actually curating solutions for simple stuff where I want to go the FOSS way and then writing modules etc that can be deployed to people. Which probably means testing a whole lot of software...

> The idea is basically that I don't want to take your time on this, not because of cost or anything like that, but because I think you would find it uninteresting and I'd rather put your time into this bigger project (which ultimately serves the needs of the small task guy anyway, and gives a pathway for doing the above at scale). \ No newline at end of file
